Mirage Volcano Show

It’s bigger, it’s better, it’s back, and it’s still Free! The Mirage Volcano Show re-opened in December 2008 and the redesign is a big hit. The flames go higher (nice on a cold night), flames shoot up from all over the lake, and there is fake lava flowing through the rocks. Erupting Nightly, be sure to visit the New Volcano!

  • When: Nightly on the hour starting at dusk and continuing to 11pm
  • Location: Outside the Mirage hotel-casino

The Mirage Volcano Show features a soundtrack arranged by Roll Hall of Fame musician Mickey Hart and Indian musical virtuoso Zakir Hussain. The design team responsible for the redesign of the Mirage Volcano Show was led by WET, the company behind The Bellagio fountain show. To learn more about the redesign visit the Mirage website. Bellagio Fountain Show

The Bellagio Fountain Show is a must see. The fountains shoot water as high as 460 feet and dance to opera, classical and Broadway tunes. Especially beautiful at night the show typically lasts about 5 minutes. If the weather is nice stay a while and enjoy 2 or 3 shows. Shows are subject to cancellation due to high winds, so if the weather is windy then maybe save the show for a different night.

  • When:
  • Monday to Friday: 3pm- 8pm (show every 1/2 hour) 8pm – 12am (show every 15 minutes)
  • Saturdays, Sundays and Holidays: 12pm – 8pm (show every 1/2 hour) 8pm – 12am (show every 15 minutes)

Take a short walk alongside the Bellagio lake and enjoy the Dancing Waterf of the Bellagio Fountains.

Wildlife Habitat Flamingo Hotel

Featuring Chilean Flamingos as well as Swans, Ducks, Koi and Turtles the Wildlife Habitat at the Flamingo Hotel provides a peaceful break from the wild Vegas scene. The Flamingos live in an authentic environment of islands and streams surrounded by lush foliage imported from around the world.

  • When: Open daily, 24 hours.
  • Location: Flamingo Hotel and Casino

It’s only a small attraction, but if you are close to the hotel and enjoy wildlife habitats it’s worth popping in for a look. Take a short walk alongside the streams and waterfalls, or sit back and relax on one of the many benches scattered throughout the area.
